Bob Berry
President
Atlanta, GA

Bob started his career in the Bulk Materials Handling industry in 1973 with Simons Eastern Engineering. In 2004 Bob founded Rivertech Systems, Inc and in 2006 had the opportunity to merge with TPI Engineered Systems. Bob lives in Atlanta with his wife Patti. He has many hobbies and is an avid airplane and motorcycle enthusiast. In his spare time you may find him on his motorcycle on the Tail of the Dragon or on the water at Lake Wedowee.

Robbie Morgan
Vice President of Operations
Bowdon, GA

Robbie grew up in Douglasville, GA and he has been part of the company since day one! Robbie started his career at Cutler-Hammer and started working in the Materials Handling Industry in 1999. Robbie began as a Steel Detailer and now heads up Detailing as well as multitude of other key roles within the organization. Robbie lives in Winston, Georgia with his wife Kristy and their three daughters Kaylie, Kaitlyn and Kinsley. His daughter Kaylie is in school at the University of North Georgia in Dahlonega. Look for Robbie visiting Kaylie in Dahlonega or on the ballfield or volleyball court cheering his girls on. In his down time Robbie enjoys time at the lake, fishing, and spending time with his family and friends.

Ryan Goodwin
Vice President of Engineering
Bowdon, GA

Ryan began his career with TPI as a drafter/detailer during his junior year of high school after taking a special interest in drafting classes. He worked summers through high school until starting his undergraduate in mechanical engineering at Georgia Institute of Technology in 2008. During college Ryan worked part time at TPI between classes before taking a co-op with Delta Airlines in the structural engineering department. After his co-op with Delta ended, Ryan returned to TPI part time until graduating with honors in August of 2013. Ryan came on with TPI full time immediately after graduation as a Project Engineer. Over the course of the next few years Ryan progressed to Project Manager, then to Engineering Manager and now serves as VP of Engineering. Ryan lives in Villa Rica, Georgia with his wife and two children. In his free time he enjoys spending time with his family, traveling, and exploring the outdoors.

Ed Bucka
Project Manager
Bowdon, GA

Ed began his Engineering career with Power Distribution, Inc. in 1985 as Design Engineer manufacturing Power Distribution and Monitoring Solutions for Data Centers. In 1989 began working at Rail Bearing Service, Inc. and Subsidiaries focused on producing equipment used to remanufacture railroad bearings. Performer Yachts, Inc. manufacturing 24’ and 32’ off-shore fishing boats. Monistar Systems, Inc manufacturing power and environmental monitors. His introduction to the Bulk Materials Handling Industry began in 1995 with TPI Engineered Systems, Inc. located in Richmond, VA. as a Project Engineer and later Branch Manager. Ed was promoted to Project Manager in January of 2020 when TPI closed the Richmond Office. Ed now lives in Georgia with his wife Kim and their Chocolate Lab named Blu. They are blessed with two beautiful daughters (Kamren & Madyson) and a grandson (Karson). His interests includes American muscle cars, mechanics, woodworking, art, architecture, and history. In his spare time you can find him spending time with his family in Surfside Beach, South Carolina.

David Cavender
Project Manager
Bowdon, GA

David graduated from Jacksonville State University in 2011 and was hired before graduation by the conveying company where he was doing his engineering internship. Shortly after, he progressed in the company to become a Production Manager. He was to oversee the manufacturing of the engineered systems throughout the company.He was also in charge of planning, scheduling, purchasing, and managing the production operations for the fabrication and assembly of the conveyor systems. After 7 years he parted ways and began working with TPI Engineered Systems in 2018. He worked as a Design Engineer for 2.5 years, working closely with other engineers. His tasks included selecting equipment, layouts, designing and engineering our bulk conveying systems. In August of 2020, he took on an additional role as a Project Manager, where he has managed projects from start to final install. He lives in Heflin, Alabama with his wife and two children. In his free time he enjoys spending time outdoors with his family.

Gary Fohl
Project Engineer
New Zealand

Gary designs, manages details and investigates Model/Data technologies. He started with material handling systems in ’94 with Mellott Enterprises and Fesco.1. He has over 30 years in the Steel Engineering Industry filling many roles on multiple continents. Gary loves travelling and tries to split his time between US, NZ and ZW. He has a stable of seven push bikes, two motorbikes and likes to ride them to feel the wind where his hair used to be.

Greg Gilbert
Project Engineer
Bowdon, GA

Greg was born and raised in Warner Robins, Georgia. He graduated from Mercer university in 2019 with his Master’s and Bachelor’s degrees in Mechanical Engineering. While at Mercer, he began his engineering career in the aerospace industry as an engineering intern at Mercer Engineering Research Center (MERC). He was later hired on at MERC as a staff mechanical engineer. Greg joined TPI as a design engineer at the end of 2020. His job duties include designing, detailing, and providing engineering support for conveyor equipment. Greg lives with his girlfriend and their two cats, Thomas Bean and Dolly Bill. Greg enjoys eating food and playing board games.

Daniel Isbell
Project Engineer
Indiana

Daniel grew up near Birmingham, Alabama. He graduated from Rose-Hulman with a BS in Mechanical Engineering in 2007. After graduation, he started at AIM Machinery, where he worked on roller conveyors, cranes, and related products for steel and aluminum mills. In 2012, he moved to Atlanta, Georgia, and started working at TPI Engineered Systems. As a design engineer, Daniel works with other engineers to design and detail bulk conveying systems. He also provides tech support as needed within TPI. He and his wife, Katie, now live in Westfield, Indiana. In his free time, he enjoys autocross and PC games.

Chad Keatley
Project Engineer
Virginia

Chad was born in Newport News, Virginia. He received his Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech in 1996 and began his career in drafting and design the same year. Chad has been with TPI since 1999 and is a design engineer working with other engineers on different types of conveying systems. He resides in Richmond, Virginia with his wife, Kristen, and two children, Hayden and Lindsey. In his free time, you can find Chad gaming, watching football, or playing pool.

Treston Parris
Project Engineer
Bowdon, GA

Treston started in 2018 as a welder with TPI, he moved to engineering in early 2019. Treston plans to join the company full time as a design engineer after graduation from Kennesaw State University with a BS in Mechanical Engineering Technology. Treston lives in Buchanan with his family and enjoys riding off-road vehicles around their property. He was in the Boy Scouts, and eventually an Eagle Scout. He loves to camp and being outdoors. Sports are also an interest of his, he enjoys watching football and playing tennis.

Mike Saunders
Project Manager
Virginia

Mike was born and raised in Clifton Forge, Virginia. He received an ASS Degree in Mechanical Design in 1983 and began his drafting and design career at Newport News Ship Building in 1984 working on SSN688 Los Angeles Class submarines. Mike has been with TPI since 1989 where he began his material handling design career. He currently resides in Daleville, Virginia with his beautiful wife, Conley, and two daughters, McKinley and Jesse. Mike enjoys fishing, hiking, biking, art, music, and camping at his place on Cowpasture River in his spare time.

Roger Vaughn
Project Engineer
Belton, SC

Roger attended Greenville Technical School to study Architectural Engineering. He began work in a machine shop and later moved into the Engineering Department working on design and drawings of a variety of equipment. He has been with TPI since 2015 and works with engineers on various types of conveying systems. Roger was born and raised in Honea Path, South Carolina and still resides there today in an old farm house that he and his wife, Cindy renovated together. They have two sons, Jeremy and Christopher, and one granddaughter that seems to be taking after her grandad! In his spare time, you can find Roger rebuilding (playing with) old trucks, tractors, and a bit of carpentry along the way.
